I had hopes with her first single (which I thought she looked cute in a flirty kind-of-way), but it has gone downhill to the trailer park again. And to top it off-Looks like someone has started to put the weight back on! Is it me or does it seem that the more weight she puts on the less clothing she wears? You want to make a shit video-expect some shit flung back at you.

Rihanna teams up with Justin Timberlake (this girl gets around) to film a scene together for Rehab, the eighth single being released off Rihanna’s 2007 Good Girl Gone Bad album. The music video shoot took place earlier this week in California. Justin reportedly co-wrote the single and decided to make a cameo in the video as well. Rihanna attracts #1 singles like a magnet scoring four hits this year alone. Add Justin Timberlake to the mix and I think it’s pretty easy to see Rihanna taking the top spot yet again. Of course with Britney, Christina & Beyonce right on the heels of her stilettos, it's anybody's guess who claws themselves to the top.

Yesterday, Gale Harold was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. He is at USC Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit. Harold's rep just issued a statement saying his shoulder was fractured and he's in stable condition-'Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery.' Harold starred in the Showtime series Queer as Folk, and is currently on Desperate Housewives as Susan's boytoy. Get well soon!

The Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, TX is putting on a special screening of The Shining up in Oregon at the Timberline Lodge where Stanley Kubrick's film was actually shot. In honor of they event, they've commissioned Jeff Kleinsmith to design a new poster ( you can buy one here:http://www.mondotees.com/)
The event takes place on October 31st and tickets go on sale on October 10th.You can find more information over on the official website for the event here: http://www.shiningparty.com/.

There are various ticket packages which include admittance to the party at the lodge that evening. At the stroke of midnight, all VIP Overnight guests are required to return to their rooms and turn on their TVs for a very special screening of The Shining. All VIP guests will be watching The Shining simultaneously, but in the privacy of their own rooms.

The Shining is one of my favorite movies and I have actually stayed at the Timberline Lodge twice now. Although I have plans to see Madonna in Vancouver for the Halloween weekend (VERY excited!!!!), this would have been a great event to attend!

Angels & Demons is a sort of prequel to The Devinci Code, and although I enjoyed both books, I thought A&D was far superior and I'm looking forward to the movie. Angels & Demons, starring Tom Hanks will hit theaters next May!

I have to say I've been on the receiving end of this stick. Way back in the early 90's, I had great seats to see Janet on her janet.Tour in Gainesville, FL. Two days before the event, she cancelled due to "illness". Some speculated that poor ticket sales deterred her performance. Luckily I was able to see her a few years later for her Velvet Rope Tour, and it was worth the wait! So now, even more years later, poor Janet is still calling into work sick (Janet has canceled the Montreal dates of her recent tour: Rock Witchu). According to sources close to Janet Jackson’s camp, she was hospitalized for dehydration and exhaustion then shortly released.

The only thing I have to say is she does not look dehydrated to me!

Untold Love Story: I Love Pussy!

Janet Jackson has been hospitalized!
The singer “got suddenly ill during the sound check” before her concert last night in Montreal and had to be rushed to the hospital, according to a statement released by W&W Public Relations. The cancellation was announced shortly before LL Cool J was about to open the show.
No additional details have been provided about Janet’s condition, but it will probably be some form of exhaustion or dehydration associated with her hectic touring schedule. The concert will hopefully be rescheduled at a later date.

More Drama for Project Runway

This is just like some nasty child custody case as Project Runway is being torn at the seams between the greedy hands of Bravo and the greedy hands of Lifetime.

New York State Supreme Court ruled last Friday, September 26 that the reality show is still under the right of NBC Universal, which is the parent company of Bravo. With the court decision, Lifetime will not be able to go on with the airing of the show nor can it develop a spin-off to the show, which has previously been planned. The sixth season was initially planned to be broadcast in January 2009 after delayed once from the November 2008 schedule. The result is stemming from the defense by NBC that Weinstein Company, owner of the series, signed a deal with Lifetime before giving NBC enough time to compensate with the terms of deal. Weinstein made a $150 million deal with Lifetime earlier this year. NBC has released a statement regarding the ruling, expressing their satisfaction. "The overwhelming evidence demonstrated that the Weinstein Company violated NBC Universal's right of first refusal to future cycles of 'Project Runway.' After hearing all of the evidence, the court issued an order prohibiting the Weinstein Company from taking the show or any spinoff to Lifetime." In return, Weinsten Co. have also released their statement, announcing their appeal plan. "We are glad that the court held that NBC Universal cannot exhibit the program on Bravo and that the court required NBC Universal to post a minimum $20 million bond," the statement read. "Obviously we will be appealing and remain committed to our partners." The third party, Lifetime, admitted that they are "disappointed" with the decision but will "pursue all measures to uphold its valid and binding agreement reached with the Weinstein Company for Season 6 of 'Project Runway.' " An October 15 meeting is scheduled to set a date on a trial for all the parties.

And what is even more sad then Heather Locklear's arrest was that Hottie Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson got married Saturday! People magazine reports the couple quietly exchanged vows in Canada, at a remote wilderness resort just outside of Vancouver. Ryan proposed to Scarlett earlier this year in May (around the same time Heather was reportedly trying to kill herself) after a very brief period of dating (we're talking a little over a year). Why? Heather Lockear | Arrested for DUI

Heather Locklear was arrested Saturday in Santa Barbara and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence , but there was no alcohol involved. Officers suspected she was jacked up on something.

The cops believe that she was "driving erratically" and seemed "disoriented and impaired" due to prescription medication. She was released without having to post bail.
Locklear, 47, was booked for suspicion of driving, while high on prescription drugs on Saturday before she made bail out of the Santa Barbara County Jail at about 11:30 p.m., authorities said.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff released a mug shot of the fried actress, with running mascara and dark roots showing through her bleached blonde hair.
“She [Locklear] was observed by a citizen pulling out of a parking lot and the woman [witness] thought she [Locklear] was driving really erratically,” CHP spokesman Tom Marhsall said.
Locklear passed tests to show she wasn’t drunk, but cops figured out she was impaired on an undisclosed prescription drug, officials said.

This has not been a good year for Heather Locklear. Back in May cops were called to Locklear’s home when a 911 call was made out of fear for Locklear’s safety. A concerned friend thought she might have been suicidal.
Locklear also spent time in a rehab/psych ward in June to get help with her depression/anxiety.

Swiss architecture agency Herzog & De Meuron shows their project of a high rise building for the Porte de Versailles in Paris.
The 50-storey pyramid-like rising 180 meters would be the first skyscraper to be built inside Paris in 30 years, after the Montparnasse tower, Paris mayor Bertrand Delanoe unveiled the project during a press conference today.
The privately-financed building is expected to contain offices looking outward and a luxury hotel looking towards the city centre. There are also plans for luxury boutiques, a panoramic restaurant, a swimming pool, hanging gardens and a Babel-like "museum of languages of the world".
The tower is cheduled for completion by 2012.
