Janet Jackson | Rushed to Hospital

Janet Jackson has been hospitalized!
The singer “got suddenly ill during the sound check” before her concert last night in Montreal and had to be rushed to the hospital, according to a statement released by W&W Public Relations. The cancellation was announced shortly before LL Cool J was about to open the show.
No additional details have been provided about Janet’s condition, but it will probably be some form of exhaustion or dehydration associated with her hectic touring schedule. The concert will hopefully be rescheduled at a later date.

Rumor Has It | Melissa George Scrubs In for Grey's Anatomy

Aussie actress Melissa George (Alias, Amityville Horror, 30 Days of Night) is in final negotiations to steam up the set of Grey's Anatomy by playing a bisexual intern who has a lesbian tryst with one of the leading characters. George, 32, is poised to sign on as a regular to appear in the current fifth season of the hit US show, website ew.com said. The gig would reportedly see her play a budding medico with a crush on one of the show's established female characters, with early speculation pointing to either Callie (Sara Ramirez) or Erica (Brooke Smith).

More Drama for Project Runway

This is just like some nasty child custody case as Project Runway is being torn at the seams between the greedy hands of Bravo and the greedy hands of Lifetime.

New York State Supreme Court ruled last Friday, September 26 that the reality show is still under the right of NBC Universal, which is the parent company of Bravo. With the court decision, Lifetime will not be able to go on with the airing of the show nor can it develop a spin-off to the show, which has previously been planned. The sixth season was initially planned to be broadcast in January 2009 after delayed once from the November 2008 schedule. The result is stemming from the defense by NBC that Weinstein Company, owner of the series, signed a deal with Lifetime before giving NBC enough time to compensate with the terms of deal. Weinstein made a $150 million deal with Lifetime earlier this year. NBC has released a statement regarding the ruling, expressing their satisfaction. "The overwhelming evidence demonstrated that the Weinstein Company violated NBC Universal's right of first refusal to future cycles of 'Project Runway.' After hearing all of the evidence, the court issued an order prohibiting the Weinstein Company from taking the show or any spinoff to Lifetime." In return, Weinsten Co. have also released their statement, announcing their appeal plan. "We are glad that the court held that NBC Universal cannot exhibit the program on Bravo and that the court required NBC Universal to post a minimum $20 million bond," the statement read. "Obviously we will be appealing and remain committed to our partners." The third party, Lifetime, admitted that they are "disappointed" with the decision but will "pursue all measures to uphold its valid and binding agreement reached with the Weinstein Company for Season 6 of 'Project Runway.' " An October 15 meeting is scheduled to set a date on a trial for all the parties.

And what is even more sad then Heather Locklear's arrest was that Hottie Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson got married Saturday! People magazine reports the couple quietly exchanged vows in Canada, at a remote wilderness resort just outside of Vancouver. Ryan proposed to Scarlett earlier this year in May (around the same time Heather was reportedly trying to kill herself) after a very brief period of dating (we're talking a little over a year). Why? Why? Why?
Scarlett is officially on my shit list. But on a positive note, only a girl like Scarlett will be able to rip out Ryan's heart and allow him to realize that he should be with men...OK, I'm just kidding-uh...congrats to the newlyweds! Happy Bitter Monday (maybe I can score some happy pills from Heather)

Heather Lockear | Arrested for DUI

Heather Locklear was arrested Saturday in Santa Barbara and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence , but there was no alcohol involved. Officers suspected she was jacked up on something.

The cops believe that she was "driving erratically" and seemed "disoriented and impaired" due to prescription medication. She was released without having to post bail.
Locklear, 47, was booked for suspicion of driving, while high on prescription drugs on Saturday before she made bail out of the Santa Barbara County Jail at about 11:30 p.m., authorities said.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff released a mug shot of the fried actress, with running mascara and dark roots showing through her bleached blonde hair.
“She [Locklear] was observed by a citizen pulling out of a parking lot and the woman [witness] thought she [Locklear] was driving really erratically,” CHP spokesman Tom Marhsall said.
Locklear passed tests to show she wasn’t drunk, but cops figured out she was impaired on an undisclosed prescription drug, officials said.

This has not been a good year for Heather Locklear. Back in May cops were called to Locklear’s home when a 911 call was made out of fear for Locklear’s safety. A concerned friend thought she might have been suicidal.
Locklear also spent time in a rehab/psych ward in June to get help with her depression/anxiety.
