Some young hotties (Chace Crawford & Hayden Panettiere, to name a few) came out last night for the New Year, New Old Navy event hosted by Old Navy in NYC. Why? You know these two would never wear that cheap-ass Old Navy crap. Must have been an open bar. Of course with the writer's strike and both of their shows off the air indefinitely, they got to keep themselves in the spotlight somehow. My advice: Fuck the whales-befriend Britney and your name and pic will be on every magazine cover, news caption and blogs around the clock.

McConaughey & Hudson- "Fools Gold" Premiere

Matthew McConaughey (with newly sperminated girlfriend) and Kate Hudson made the rounds last night at the LA premiere of their upcoming romantic comedy, Fools Gold. I think Kate & Matty make a real cute couple (Hello-How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days), but this film does NOT look funny nor cute and I'm just not feeling any chemistry between these two. Guess lightening doesn't strike twice.

Colin Farrell-Best Man to Gay Brother's Wedding

According to PinkNews.com,
"Actor Colin Farrell is to be best man at his big brother's civil partnership ceremony.Eamon Farrell, 35, is planning to marry his 23-year-old boyfriend Steven Mannion after a proposing to him in New York last year.
According to the Mirror: "Eamon proposed before Christmas. The pair share a love of art and this is what brought them together. Eamon is a respected dance teacher who set up the National Performing Arts School in Dublin more than 10 years ago. And Steven is a really talented artist who has been welcomed into the Farrell family. It is rumoured Colin, 31, helped Eamon choose a diamond and sapphire-studded ring for his boyfriend. Stop-Loss Movie Poster

MTV Films Stop-Loss stars Ryan Philippe as a soldier who refuses to go back to Iraq after a “stop-loss” order which requires him to serve an additional tour of duty after completing his agreed term. Though I am not big on war dramas, the movie has some definite eye candy (Channing Tatum-YUM)-so I will have to check it out. Stop-Loss is set to hit theaters March 28th. Interesting side note-both Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have been cast in the upcoming movie, G.I. Joe (along with Dennis Quaid, Rachel Nichols (Alias) and Sienna Miller). Another possible eye candy war drama to watch. I'm seeing a trend here.

Bond's "Quantum of Solace" Teaser Poster

Not impressed. I really dug the last Bond installment, Casino Royale, but I'm not really feeling this movie (so far). I think the title is lame and this poster definitely does not pump me up for the upcoming film. At this point, I will have to wait and see on future developments-but my expectations on Quantum of Solace is low.

No View for Kathy Griffin (Again!!)

This is fucking hilarious- Kathy Griffin has been banned from The View (Again!) on orders by Barbara Walters.

According to PageSix.com, Griffin said, “I was supposed to be on ‘The View’ [today]… But then I get a call from [producer] Bill Geddie and he says, ‘You were too mean to Barbara [Walters] on your last special, so you can’t come on.’ Can you believe it? I’ve been banned before, but never re-banned!”

Justin Timberlake phoned into Ellen DeGeneras' show earlier this week, stating that he was going to London to film a music video with Madonna. Reportedly the music video will be "more edgy, more fresh-with no more disco".

Ryan Reynolds - "Definitely, Maybe" Premiere

Canadian hottie Ryan Reynolds and Little Miss Sunshine star Abigail Bresling goofed around yesterday at the 2008 Santa Barbara Film Festival world premiere of their new flick Definitely,Maybe. Ryan looks much much better clean-shaven!
The film is a romantic comedy starring Reynolds as a 30-something Manhattan dad in the midst of a divorce when his 10 year old daughter, played by Bresling, starts to question him about his life before marriage.
