19th Annual GLAAD Awards

Last Saturday night, the 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards was held in Hollywood, CA. The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and the issues that affect their lives. GLAAD honored Herb Ritts with a posthumous Pioneer Award. The Pioneer Award is given to an individual, group, or media outlet that made a significant contribution to the development of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender-inclusive media images prior to the creation of the GLAAD Media Awards. Tom Ford presented the award, and Cindy Crawford accepted on behalf of the Herb Ritts Foundation.
Brothers & Sisters won Outstanding Drama Series.
Series regulars, Matthew Rhys, Sally Field, Balthazar Getty, Ron Rifkin and Rachel Griffiths accepted the award.

Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List won Outstanding Reality Program. Griffin accepted the award from "my gays."
Portia De Rossi and Ellen Degeneres. Degeneres presented the Vanguard Award to Janet JacksonMichael Urie, Becki Newton & Christopher Gorham accepted the Outstanding Comedy Series for Ugly Betty.

Cougar & kitten (aka T.R. Knight and boytoy, Mark Cornels) also made an appearance at the award show.
