The Men of Big Brother 9
Thanks to the never-ending Writer's Strike we get Big Brother 9 early this year. Normally the reality show is aired in the summer months. This season's twist is called "Soul Mates" and starts February 12th. When this group of 16 singles enters the house, they will be told they are being matched up with their “Soul Mate,” a stranger who may prove to be their true love or their worst nightmare. Whether there is a love connection or not, once paired up, the Houseguests’ life in the game depends on their partner. They must strategize, plot and scheme together as a couple for a chance at the prize. These “Soul Mates” will live together as a couple meaning they will sleep in the same bed, hold Head of Household as a couple, be nominated for eviction as a pair, and if the time comes, say their goodbyes together upon eviction. There are 9 men and 7 females. Should be VERY interesting who couples with who. Here are the men of Big Brother 9:
The Nines - Movie Review (2007)
"A troubled actor, a television show runner, and an acclaimed video game designer find their lives intertwining in mysterious and unsettling ways." John August, perhaps most known for his screenplays of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "Corpse Bride," delivers an intricately woven tale told in three parts. Complex at times, witty at others, the film unfolds with talented actors playing multiple roles. Think a more subdued David Lynch movie.
Hottie Ryan Reynolds tries his hand at dramatic acting, but succeeds in creating believable characters. The fantastic Melissa McCarthy, most notably of "Samantha Who?" fame, plays each of her three roles beautifully. I love this girl-her comic timing is head on-she steals this movie!
Even the soundtrack is amazing and really enhances the film.Truly, words cannot do this complex, yet enjoyable, film justice and it must be seen to be truly appreciated. I highly recommend!!
Amy Winehouse -Shaken, Not Stirred
Producers have reached a deal with singer Amy Winehouse to be the new Bond siren. Amy will write and sing the theme song for the new 22nd Bond film, Quantum of Solace.Deal Breaker: She has to stay sober! HaHaHaHaHa..
