Knight and boyfriend, Mark Cornelsen, attended a celebration of the California Supreme Court decision and a dusk “commitment to protect our rights” ceremony last night in West Hollywood.The 35-year-old Grey’s Anatomy star, who was forced to come out of the closet in October 2006 after some on-set drama on the hit ABC medical drama, and his 19-year-old beau joined approximately 50 other couples who took part in the ceremony presided by West Hollywood Mayor Jeffrey Prang to mark the start of National Gay Pride Month.
The entire event was hosted by the Matthew Shepard Foundation.
Hilary Clinton Calls Curtains
Senator Hillary Clinton thanked supporters in an e-mail Thursday and pledged to help Sen. Barack Obama capture the White House after eight years of Republican control.Clinton plans to thank supporters in person at a Washington D.C. event Saturday, her campaign said, but she got a head start in an e-mail the campaign sent early Thursday.
"I have said throughout the campaign that I would strongly support Senator Obama if he were the Democratic Party's nominee, and I intend to deliver on that promise," the message said.
"This has been a long and hard-fought campaign, but as I have always said, my differences with Senator Obama are small compared to the differences we have with Senator McCain and the Republicans."
Clinton plans to suspend her campaign within days, her campaign said. By suspending instead of dropping out altogether, Clinton would technically remain a candidate, entitled to keep statewide pledged delegates and district-level delegates.
Yet Democrats nationwide have coalesced around Obama since he received enough delegates to become the presumptive nominee on Tuesday evening.
On Thursday and Friday, top Democrats from Clinton's home state of New York plan to endorse the Illinois senator, congressional staffers and Obama campaign insiders told CNN.
The New York Democratic congressional delegation plans to embrace Obama's candidacy Thursday on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, the sources said.
And on Friday, Democratic leaders in New York, including Gov. David A. Paterson, state legislators and city council members, plan to endorse Obama at a 1 p.m. news conference at New York's City Hall, the sources said.
Obama earned enough delegates Tuesday to clinch the nomination, but Clinton did not concede defeat that night. Instead, she asked supporters to visit her Web site and give her advice on how to proceed.
Since then, Clinton supporters have stepped up efforts to get her the vice-presidential slot.

Gillian Anderson Pregnant With 3rd Child
According to People.com, X-Files star Gillian Anderson is expecting her second child with boyfriend Mark Griffiths. The couple have a son, Oscar, who was born in November 2006. Anderson also has a 13-year-old daughter, Piper, from a previous marriage.The X-Files: I Want to Believe hits theaters July 25.

Kim Cattrall Has 'Sensitive Skin'
Kim Cattrall has landed on her back yet again as she will be working as executive producer and starring in HBO’s upcoming comedy “Sensitive Skin.” Apparently Cattrall's involvement in “Sensitive Skin” was part of the development deal she negotiated when reprising her role as Samantha in the Sex and the City movie. This bitch doesn't mess around!
“Sensitive Skin” is based on a BBC series, with Kim Cattrall playing a New York wife and mom who “rediscovers her sexuality, and subsequently starts to question choices she has made in life.”

Sex Does Sell! The Ladies Take The #1 Spot
Despite making a massive $27M on Friday night, the Sex & The City movie ended up with about $56M when all of the weekend estimates were calculated. Coming in at #1, it actually beat out that old fart,Indiana Jones (#2 with $46M) and the horror movie, The Strangers (#3 with $20M). I'm sure the numbers will drastically die down in subsequent weeks, but the DVD release should boost sales even higher. And YES, they are already talking a sequel!!!
