David Duchovny | Dumped by Johnston & Murphy
Back in June, Johnston & Murphy - an upscale American shoe maker- picked David Duchovny as the leading ad endorser of the brand. But this didn’t last long for the company and the X-Files leading man, as Johnston & Murphy soon pulled out Duchovny from the deal as soon as Duchovny checked himself into rehab for sex addiction. Poor David!
Gail O'Grady | New Whore On The Block
There’s a new housewife coming to Wisteria Lane - EW.com is reporting that Gail O’Grady is joining Desperate Housewives.Gail O’Grady will appear on a recurring basis as a new cougar in the neighborhood, who EW.com says “was originally conceived as a Mrs. Robinson-esque seductress who sets her sights on one of Lynette’s rapidly aged twin terrors.”
Whether she’ll play the seductress or another role on the series is yet to be determined, but casting is underway for her husband.
Britney Spears Racked Them Up At 2008 VMA's
Although she did not perform this year, Britney Spears took home the golden spaceman, three of them in fact, last night at the 2008 Mtv Music Video Awards. Britney looked amazing (finally!!) and won: Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of The Year, all for "Piece Of Me".

It's Britney Bitch! VMA Appearance a GO!
CONFIRMED: Ms. Britney Spears will open the show at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, according to reports.“MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?” Spears said today. “I’m excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated.”
It's being stated that she will not perform this year, but simply "open the show". Did she perform last year? I don't think lip-syncing and wondering around the stage like a drug-induced zombie counts as a "performance", but then it did entertain the shit out of me...
Bond's New 007 Drink
Coca-Cola Great Britian will change the name of Coca-Cola Zero to Zero Zero 7 as part of a global tie-in with forthcoming James Bond film Quantum of Solace. Limited-edition bottles will roll out in the UK next month, supported by a global ad campaign and on-pack promotions using the ‘Zero Zero 7′ strapline.
Remember the good ol' days when Bond promoted booze! It's a sign, an end of days, an approaching apocalypse....what has our world become?

Batman: The Dark Knight Soars Ever Higher
The Dark Knight– which was the fastest flick to earn $400 million – has become the second movie in history to gross over $500 million at the box office the Associated Press reported on Sunday. The Batman sequel has raked in over $502.4 million in just over six weeks - half the time it took Titanic, which reached the half-billion mark in a little more than three months the AP reported. Talk about laughing all the way to the bank!
